LEADERSHIP

PRESIDENT & CEO - ANDRE DEAN

Andre Dean is the President and Principal Owner of Dean & Associates, a government relations, business, and professional services consulting firm. His firm works with businesses and leadership at the local, state, and federal government levels to implement strategies that support economic development in the Greater Memphis area. Before starting his firm, Dean was the Vice President of Public Policy and Multicultural Affairs for the Greater Memphis Chamber. While there, he created strategic alliances to improve business operations for existing firms while supporting a legislative agenda that was developed to improve economic conditions in our community. Focusing on Manufacturing, Logistics, and Public Policy, Dean developed solid relationships and expertise across multiple disciplines that aided in his ability to direct companies in strategic decision-making. This also allowed him to communicate concerns on behalf of the local business community effectively. Dean is a member of the Tennessee Lobbyist Association, serves on the Board of Directors of the Memphis Urban League, and is a longtime member of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, having most recently served on the Strategic Visioning team. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis, with a BS in Accounting, married, and father of three. Although he is a Nashville native, he has fully embraced the Memphis community as his home.
